Un total de 42 de bloggers y administradores de webs se han puesto de acuerdo para participar en una encuesta para realizar una lista independiente, alejada de influencias externas, basándose solo en su particular manera de ver el mundo de la música con motivo de elegir lo mejor y lo peor del año.
12 han sido las preguntas que han tenido que responder y, esta vez a diferencia de otras encuestas de este tipo, no se trata de una votación cerrada en la que se ha de elegir entre una serie de opciones, esta vez la respuestas son abiertas, con la dificultad que esto entraña a la hora de tabular los resultados.
